I’m a pretty tough old bag but…
Editorial note: the lack of a comma between “pretty” and “tough old bag” means that I don’t consider myself “pretty” AND ”tough.” Just a “pretty tough old bag.”

Who flipped the HOT switch?
Since my surgery on Tuesday, I have been HOT. Not all the time—it just comes in spurts. I figure one of three things is going on. (more…)
Ouch. Ouch. Ouch.
So, I had my “thumb thang” taken off Tuesday morning at Mercy Hospital in OKC. The drive down was dreadful. Not because it was so early (we left home at 4:15 a.m.)…but because the weather was horrific. Lightning, torrential rain, flooding. *sigh*
We got there by 6:00 and my surgery took place right on time at 8:00. (more…)
Things that make an old woman grumpy
The OKC television stations said this morning that the north side of Enid got 6″ of rain overnight. A friend of ours who lives a couple miles north and a couple miles west of Enid called to say he got 8″!
We got THREE TENTHS. *sigh*
