Caught on camera – but what is it?
We have a “game camera” set up where we feed wildlife down by the pond. Every morning is a bit like Christmas, as we never know what we’ll see on the video card the next day. At night, it is usually deer and raccoons, and an occasional rabbit, bobcat, or possum. Lately, we’ve had a few instances of strange lights that we can’t explain.
PART II of my pain in the butt—plus some perspective
I saw the pain management doctor on Tuesday. I didn’t get the injection I was hoping for (*sigh*), but I am scheduled to go in Tuesday of next week (11/3) and get two injections: one is an epidural and the other goes directly into the tailbone. I’ll be sedated, which is a good thing!
My “pain in the butt”
WHINE ALERT!! I have a pain in the butt. No, really. A bad pain in the butt. I’ve kept it to myself for a long time, secretly hoping it would get better. But alas, I finally had to resort to Hillbilly Healthcare and go see a doctor. (more…)

The TWO-FIVE haunting
We had a very unusual experience with TWOs and FIVEs on our short vacation. So unusual, in fact, that we looked at each other at one point and said, “Cue the Twilight Zone music!” It started at the beginning of our trip but didn’t become apparent until later. (more…)
