Getting naked

We decided awhile back to “get naked” at our house. It was much harder than we thought…

Our great room has two sets of French doors that go out to the back “yard” (?). For years, we hated looking out them because half of the view on each set of doors was somewhat blocked because of the screens. Recently we decided (okay, so I decided) we should take the screen doors off.  We seldom used them, and I knew it would really open up the view.

I tried getting them off myself late in the summer.  An hour later, I gave up… When I finally convinced husband that we needed to get rid of the doors—no wait!  It was only AFTER he found out that I had tried to do it myself (and couldn’t) that he decided he would try.  I suspect it was a “macho” thing, but I didn’t care! So we both worked and worked and finally got them off. The difference is AMAZING! 

I guess technically “WE” didn’t get naked. Our French doors did.  But man, they sure look good stripped down!
