Don’t make old people mad

In thinking about the last 30 days, it’s evident that March was an emotionally “interesting” month for me!  I started out cranky, had some health issues, went through a fair amount of drama mid-month, and feel like I’m ending on the upswing.  Of course, sometimes that entire cycle can occur in a single day…but that’s another story.

Why old women need old men

I was going to town to run a quick errand the other day and realized I should check the oil in my car. It’s an old car and uses a little oil…no big deal. I popped the hood and sure enough—I needed to add some oil, but I was in a hurry and decided to do it when I got back.

Congrats to the happy couple!

My niece, Jen, gets married in Tulsa this weekend.  I love that girl with all my heart, and I am so happy for her! Her fiancé Chris loves to fish, and he knows he is getting a real “keeper”!

On March 12, I am grateful for…

On March 12, I am grateful for “professional” people.  I went to see the opthamologist yesterday about this icky thing in my eye.  (Technically, it is plural—things!)  I first blogged on February 26 about my cheek swelling, which turned out to be caused by something wrong with my eye. I’m not one to run to the doctor about stuff, but I finally decided to get an appointment when it increased from just one “thing” in my eye to several.  :roll:
