Practice makes perfect

OK, so nobody is perfect.  But I’m ready to start practicing…

I had such a relaxing Labor Day weekend.  I didn’t work—neither did most of the people I know!  But I’m paying for that now because I am way behind on a project.  *sigh*  So today is Saturday and I worked most of the day, and I’ll work most of tomorrow…and it won’t be a leisurely pace.

What does this have to do with practice?   Well, I’m ready to start practicing for retirement.  Sure, I’m only 50.  And yes, I love what I do.  Gee, if I die someday at my keyboard, I’ll be one of the lucky people who truly died happy.

It’s just that the pace of some of these “hurry up” jobs is making me tired.  Or something else is making me tired and my it’s showing in my ambition level.

Either way, I’m ready to start practicing.  🙄
