Hug your mom

For those who have followed my recent “Mom” posts, please continue to keep her in your prayers.  After a few good days following surgery Thursday night, things took a turn for the worse today (Sunday).

They put Mom back on a ventilator and on a feeding tube.  Her heart and lungs are just very weak, and her kidneys aren’t cooperating.  We hope to see some indication in the next 6-12 hours about which way she is going to turn.  This is the most emotionally draining experience of my life, but I am so grateful for the love and support within our family and our church family.

If your mom is still living, give her a hug today whether you feel like it or not.  And think of me when you do…

Hi, talked to your hubby…asked him, or you, to let me know if there’s anything I can do to help since you & your sis are spending so much time in OKC. I’m only a couple of hours away. Take care of yourself.
