House of mirrors

I had an odd dream last night.  It reminded of being in a house of mirrors at the fair or something–you know, where you see your reflection looking at yourself, looking at yourself, looking at yourself, and so on.  😕

My dream was really more of a nightmare…the kind where I wake myself up screaming because I’m scared.  I don’t have them often, but they are very unsettling when they occur.

In my nightmare, I was dreaming that I was sleeping and having a nightmare.  The nightmare I was dreaming about was that I was asleep and having a nightmare.  It felt like layers or steps going deeper and deeper into something (?).  Wherever I was headed, I didn’t like it!  But I had to wake myself up from one nightmare to get to the next one and wake myself up from that to finally wake myself up for good.

I don’t know if dreams have any real “meaning” or whether they are just our mind’s way of processing stuff that happens during the day.  Either way, I didn’t like it.  😦  And Lord knows at my age, I hate mirrors!

TRUCK UPDATE: Got my truck fixed.  It needed a new water pump, too.  🙄  I guess the good news is that I got a two-fer…two things fixed at the mechanic’s place fer what the dealership was going to charge to fix one.  Husband was nice enough to foot the bill.  Happy Valentine’s Day to me.  😀
