The problem with blogging

The problem with blogging is that—well, there is more just one problem.

  • If I start a new month vowing to blog every day, those months get the fewest posts. I think it’s kinda like swearing off chocolate…it just makes me want it more.
  • When a blog has a birthday, nobody sends gifts.  HEY!!!  This blog turned one year old one June 30.  Could it be that the July 4th holiday held up the delivery of presents from my readers?
  • By the time I get around to blogging on any given day, I can’t remember the many great ideas I had earlier in the day for stuff to blog about. It ain’t fun getting old.
  • I can’t always gripe about the people I want to gripe about in case they find and read my blog. Oh, don’t worry…it’s not you!
  • When I die—and hey, we’re all gonna die someday—people will read this junk and cry.  (Maybe they cry now, wishing I would just shut up. )
  • It takes forever to post with this crappy Internet service. The only two things I miss about living in town are high speed Internet and pizza delivery.  Nothing is better than quick downloads and a thin crust Supreme.

There are other problems, but these are the ones that come to mind at the moment. I’m sure I’ll think of more later, but I can’t promise I’ll remember them long enough to post them.  LUCKY YOU.
