It’s 14 degrees out and we have no heat!

Our heat went out Saturday night. Not a big deal, as it was almost 70 here Saturday afternoon…and Sunday wasn’t too bad, either. But now it’s f-f-reeeeezing outside, and it’s pretty darn cool in the house, too!

The HVAC people came yesterday, and the compressor is out on our geothermal unit. It’s under warranty, but waiting for the part is not going to be fun. We had a fire in the fireplace last night, and since it has the insert thing that blows hot air out into the room, watching TV last night was tolerable.

This morning, it is 14 degrees outside (wind chill 2 degrees), and it’s about 65 inside. Not unbearable but not comfy, either. It is already 70+ in Nassau this morning!  I’m dreaming of a Bahamas cruise… in just

32 days!
