A blessed life

I am grateful to have a very blessed life.

  • I have a husband who—after 20+ years together—still thinks I am “bikini” material.  (Stop laughing and keep reading… 🙂 )
  • Even though Mom has gone home before us, my dad is still alive and kicking—and works hard to make life better for the people he knows (and many people he doesn’t know).
  • I have two very close friends—the kind that are extremely hard to come by.  And in a few short weeks, I am fortunate enough to be taking the “vacation of a lifetime” with them. (Can’t wait, girls!)
  • Luckily, I have immediate and extended family members that love me just as I am.  I cherish the times we are together—whether they involve laughing or crying.
  • I have a beautiful home (albeit dusty!), and my “job” is something I love doing.  Who could ask for more?
  • My relationship with God is strong. I am not perfect, but we chat about it frequently… He forgives me, and we work together on making me a better (and less bitter) person.

So despite my occasional   frequent   constant whining, I am blessed.  And I am wise enough to realize it.

Take time to count YOUR blessings… and here’s to a happy, healthy, prosperous 2010!
