I started 2010 with food poisoning

I went to church New Year’s Eve—then visited with my sisters for awhile and was in bed by midnight. But I woke up at 2:00 and was violently ill for several hours.  Husband was at work so I was home alone, and during that time, I was so sure I was going to die that I scribbled a note for him with last minute changes to the will.  It was dreadful!!

Obviously I didn’t die. But after the pooping and puking and shivering and sweating stopped, I slept all day Friday and Friday night.  I laid around most of Saturday, napping off and on.  By now (Sunday morning), I’m hoping to be mostly back to normal—whatever that is.

The good news is that the rest of 2010 can only get better!

PS: Don’t eat Chinese food that has been in the fridge for 3-4 days.  I’m pretty sure this was the culprit… And HAPPY NEW YEAR!

So glad you 1) survived; 2) are feeling better; and 3) are still around to name the guilty party! The part about scribbling down changes to the will, while entertaining, is quite sobering. Wow. I am so glad you are un-dead! (It’s so hard breaking in a new editor!) Let’s just say that bad food was last year, so Happy New Year!

Ann, HA!HA! Yeah, it was an experience I don’t want to repeat any time soon…or EVER! As I sat on the toilet purging my body of all fluids, I remember starting to freak when I began to drip sweat and shiver at the same time…. TMI, I’m sure!
      Here’s to a happier, healthier 2010!
