Breathless

Some things in life leave me breathless.  A beautiful sunset—in a good way.

A brisk walk—in a healthy way.  (Uh, no pictures of that!)

A fall on the kitchen floor—in a writhing way. (Uh, no pictures of that, either!)

Poor husband…I was hurrying to answer the phone this morning when I slipped and fell.  As I picked up the phone on my way down, all he heard was panting, moaning, and crying.  He kept asking if I was okay.  Once I could talk (and stand up), I told him that yes, I thought I’d be okay.  But thank God for ibuprofen and ice packs.  *sigh*

This is one of those “I hate getting old” days.

I’ve been having a lot of those days lately. I never disliked the word “aging” until I started doing it. Hope your knee heals quickly.

Probably the only thing dumber than falling is admitting to the world that I did it. But hey—we’re all getting older by the minute, right?
    😦
