Life stages

When we’re born, we are cute and cuddly little infants. Lots of people are happy to see us. They shower us with hugs and kisses, and bring us special gifts.

As time passes, we grow into ornery toddlers, moody adolescents, rebellious teenagers, know-it-all young adults, doting parents, and then mid-life cranks. Hopefully, we then go on to become adorable old farts. Lots of people are happy to see us. They shower us with hugs and kisses, and they bring us special gifts.

I’m currently stuck at the mid-life crank stage, but I look forward to what comes next. I’ve already started working on my gift list. 😉

So….how do we know when we’ve reached the old fart stage?

When you’re no longer cranky and people bestow gifts on you.
Some women cheat and surgically skip the “mid-life crank” stage. Instant menopause or some such thing. I can’t imagine anyone wanting to miss all the fun!
